What counts as a business day?
This calculator defines business days as Monday through Friday, regardless of country or region. Public holidays — such as Christmas, New Year's Day, or national bank holidays — are not excluded. If your calculation requires holiday exclusions, subtract the number of holidays that fall in your date range from the weekday total.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this count public holidays?
No — the calculator counts weekdays (Mon–Fri) only and does not exclude any public holidays. This is stated clearly in the tool. Subtract holidays manually if needed.
Should I include the start date?
It depends on your convention. For "days remaining until deadline," you typically exclude the start date. For SLA calculations where Day 1 is the day the ticket was opened, include it.
What are weekend days used for?
The weekend day count lets you quickly verify: calendar days = business days + weekend days.
